The Full Story

OK, so first ameur is the French word for "lover." It sounds sexy because it is - I mean come on it's French after all. But in all seriousness, I chose that name for my consultative entertainment agency because it also serves as a pseudonym for myself. Essentially, I would like to be known by this word. I want my work to be who I am, not what I do. In other words, outlive me. If you're curious about why it's that big of a deal to me - read my mission. :)

 

The purpose behind ameur is to spread the love of art through globalization and democratization. Essentially, when we ALL have access to music and creativity we get the freedom to appreciate it. If you haven't guessed yet, my logo spells "AMEUR" with 5 hearts. Very Un Verano Sin Ti, I know haha, but hey I had my design first.

I think one of the hardest parts of life is having the self-conviction to say, hey I'm going to do this X thing and I'm not going to let up until I do something wild beyond my thoughts. That's when I started ameur and began to consult with artists to figure out how to build their buzz. Nevermind that, the music business is just generally very entrepreneurial and a learning by doing business at all levels. I think I've been very blessed to work with extremely remarkable talents.

So in buzz word land, what do I do? I help creative people, usually artists, develop "sticky" integrated marketing plans and strategy to achieve their desired business outcomes.

 

I feel like I have so much more to go in this business. I want to be the tasteful bridge between Latin and American consumers. I really live this life and I want to elevate the culture. I really care about this.
